The Shooting Stars Program is here to celebrate the incredible talent of Johnson
County’s high school seniors who are making their mark in the arts. Since 1997,
Shooting Stars has honored over 1,000 students for their artistic achievements, and
this year, we’re taking it to the next level!
 

Join us for the 2025 Shooting Stars Gala on April 6, 2025, where we’ll be awarding
nine first-place scholarships, nine second-place scholarships, and nine teacher
honorariums to recognize the dedicated educators who help these young artists shine.
 

Be part of the magic as we shine a spotlight on these rising artistic stars and the
teachers who guide them! This is a night you won’t want to miss!
 

*Nerman Museum Visual Art Exhibition: We’re excited to hold our annual Visual Arts
Exhibition in person at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art at Johnson County
Community College. Special thank you to exhibition curator Whitney Williamson,
Museum Registrar, and Bailey McCulloch, Assistant Museum Registrar, for the Nerman
Museum of Contemporary Art.

On the Discount page, there will be an area for input data with the prompt “If you have a
discount code, please enter it”. Here you will input the TeenTix discount code
“TeenTixKC”. This will allow you to purchase up to 2 tickets at $5. Click “next” to fill out
contact information. Check “Email Opt In” to learn more about arts events and
advocacy in Johnson County! Click “next” to proceed to the Payment page. Click “Enter
Payment” and input payment information. Click “Complete Payment” to confirm your
order.
You will receive an email confirmation of purchase. Please note this is a ticketless
event.
