Joining forces with her baby brother Charles Wallace, friend and neighbor Calvin O’Keefe, and the celestial beings Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which, she must battle the forces of evil in order to rescue her father, save humanity, and discover herself. Traveling through time and space, Meg must save both her father and the world from IT, an evil force that is rapidly casting its shadow over the universe. But what does Meg have that the IT does not? Love. For in the end, love is enough to overcome evil and bring IT’s dark world crashing down.

Throughout the run of the show, there are several special performances:

  • Opening Night: September 19 at 7 pm
  • American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreted Performance: September 27 at 2 pm
  • Sensory Friendly Performances for neurodiverse audiences featuring technical adjustments, sensory supports, house lights on and flexible audience expectations: October 3 at 9:45 am and October 4 at 2 pm
  • Audio Described Performances with verbal commentary to assist patrons who are visually impaired: October 9 at 9:45 am and October 11 at 2 pm

TeenTix KC Pass holders can order “2-for-$10” tickets by phone or in-person on the day of the show.

TeenTix tickets are only available the same day of the show. Not all performances have TeenTix tickets available; call the Box Office at 816-474-6552 to verify. The Box Office opens at 10:00am Monday-Friday and at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. If you purchase tickets over the phone, check in at the Box Office with your name and your TeenTix Pass when you arrive. Phone purchases must be paid for by a MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit or debit card. In-person purchases may be made with cash or card. Tickets cannot be held without payment and are subject to availability.
