The spellbinding Gabriela Montero brings a program shaped by the many voices of Spain: from the courtly sonatas of Soler and Scarlatti to the poetic nationalism of Granados, Albéniz, Mompou, and Alicia de Larrocha, and finally to the Spanish-inspired worlds of Chopin and Liszt. Venezuelan-born and internationally celebrated as both a pianist and an improviser, Montero has been praised by The New York Times for her “brilliant, wonderfully imaginative performances.” This program traces the evolution of Spanish-influenced piano music across two centuries, encompassing clarity, elegance, color, dance, rhythm, and virtuoso display — the many shades of Spain.

General Policies: TeenTix tickets are available for both assigned seating and general admission venues. For general admission performances, you will be seated in the best available seats on the day of the concert. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Cash and card payments are both accepted for in-person purchases. All ticket sales are final; exchanges are not available for TeenTix tickets.

In Person: Visit the box office to purchase your TeenTix tickets. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance to ensure we can accommodate you. Be prepared to show your TeenTix digital pass at the time of purchase or pickup to secure your ticket.

Online: Visit our ticketing site and find the event you wish to attend. Select a "TeenTix" ticket for your free admission. If you would like to add a companion ticket for $5, select a "TeenTix Plus One" ticket. Choose “Will Call” as your delivery method (or it will be applied automatically after purchase). On the day of the performance, arrive at least 30 minutes early, present your TeenTix digital pass, and collect your ticket(s) from Will Call.

By Phone: Call the box office at (816) 766-1096 and let the representative know you are a TeenTix Pass holder. They will reserve your ticket(s) and arrange for pickup at Will Call.
