Passion, duty, and family collide against the backdrop of war in Verdi’s grand opera. As Ancient Egypt and Ethiopia clash, the Egyptian general Radamès and the enslaved Ethiopian Aida—secretly a princess—embark on a forbidden romance that could change the fate of their nations. Aida’s father, Amonasro, and the Egyptian princess Amneris—who also loves Radamès—maneuver to shape destinies and test loyalties. Powerful arias, thrilling choruses, and spectacular sets and costumes bring this tale of devotion, betrayal, and sacrifice vividly to life.

TeenTix tickets are only available the same day of the show.  Pay cash or credit card at the Kauffman Center Ticket Office (opens 90 minutes before performance time). TeenTix Pass holders must show a valid TeenTix KC pass to purchase.

TeenTix KC Pass holders can buy $5 tickets (or 2-for-$10). Max of 2 tickets per pass. Parking Information: The Arts District parking garage, directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building, is the primary parking garage for Kansas City Ballet patrons. Advanced purchase of event parking is highly recommended as this lot has been known to sell out. Event parking is $13 in advance or $16 at the gate per car for the garage. Buy Parking

On Friday and Saturday performance days, Ticketing & Patron Services will be available by phone or email until 7:30 pm. On Sunday performance days, phone lines will be closed.
