Be careful what you wish for! In this new opera for families, a young girl named Maya discovers a dazzling ruby ring in her grandmother's belongings. She rubs the jewel and accidentally releases a genie, leading to chaos as she wishes her cat and toy unicorn to life. Realizing she is in a pickle, Maya must choose her final wish carefully. Join Lyric Opera of Kansas City for this hilarious story of family and magic.

On Friday and Saturday performance days, Ticketing & Patron Services will be available by phone or email until 7:30 pm. On Sunday performance days, phone lines will be closed.

TeenTix tickets are only available the same day of the show.  Pay cash or credit card at the Kauffman Center Ticket Office (opens 90 minutes before performance time). TeenTix Pass holders must show a valid TeenTix KC pass to purchase.

TeenTix KC Pass holders can buy $5 tickets (or 2-for-$10). Max of 2 tickets per pass. Parking Information: The Arts District parking garage, directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building, is the primary parking garage for Kansas City Ballet patrons. Advanced purchase of event parking is highly recommended as this lot has been known to sell out. Event parking is $13 in advance or $16 at the gate per car for the garage. Buy Parking
